
Emory University’s Office of Development Communications brought home eight awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III 2008 Conference held in Atlanta Feb. 8-11, including the top award for the materials produced to support Emory University’s $1.6 billion Campaign Emory.
Materials included in the winning Grand Award entry for Total Educational Fundraising Programs were the overall University case statement, case statements for thirteen of Emory’s schools and units, Campaign stationery, proposal covers, advertising, mini-case statements, campaign folders, and collateral materials created for the Campaign Emory kickoff event.
Emory Development Communications also earned Awards of Excellence in the Fundraising category for the Campaign Emory case statements and mini-cases; in the Educational Fundraising Project category for the Campaign Emory University case statement; and in the World Wide Web Home Page Design and Implementation category for the Campaign Emory home page.
The group won Special Merit awards in the Publications category for its Campaign Emory case statements; in the Educational Fundraising Projects category for the School of Medicine case statement; in the Paid Advertisements category for a Gift Planning ad; and in the Low Budget Publications category for the Campaign Emory mini-case statements.
