You can strengthen undergraduate scholarships for traditional, second-degree, exceptional master’s and doctoral degree, and international students at all levels. This means Emory nursing students will be able to base career choices on what’s in their hearts rather than their bank accounts. Your investment also will support service learning opportunities and educational technology.
Campaign Emory will further international nursing efforts in faith and health, funding visiting scholars, conferences, and faculty and student travel. The campaign will strengthen educational initiatives in race and difference and build fellowships in health disparities research. In global health, the campaign will support the Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing. In the neurosciences, it will provide undergraduate honors fellowships in sleep, pain, and depression. In predictive health, your support will help create a new interdisciplinary undergraduate program.
Your investment in the School of Nursing will strengthen the faculty through recruitment, retention, development, promotion, and tenure. Faculty development opportunities include service trips to Caribbean nations and overseas collaborations through Emory’s Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing. Your support also will create endowed academic chairs, the most prestigious of named academic positions within the School of Nursing.
